What do I wear?

It is recommended that you wear long pants, a shirt with sleeves (not singlets) and enclosed shoes (runners are OK just not flat soled canvas shoes).

What is the minimum age for riders?

5 years is the minimum age for the 1 hour ride and 7 years for the 2 hour ride. Due to our insurance restrictions we cannot take riders under 5 years.

What is the weight limit? 

Riders must not be heavier than 110 kg. We care about our horses health, so we ask that you be honest about your weight as this determines the horse and saddle we use for you.  

Do I need riding experience?

No experience is required. Our horses are quiet and well trained so if you’ve never ridden before or are an experienced rider you will enjoy your time on our horses. We offer instruction prior to the ride and tips along the way to help you get the most from your experience.

What happens if I cancel my ride?

If you cancel prior to 24 hours before the ride time, we will offer you a rescheduled ride. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the ride time, no reschedule or refund is provided.

What time should I arrive?

It is required that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the ride time. This allows you to use the bathroom, apply sunscreen, sign waivers and have your helmet fitted. Please allow enough travel time Google maps will give you an estimate, however you should also allow for stops, and the possibility of slow vehicles and roadworks.

What length rides do you offer?

Our most popular ride is the 2 hour ride which we offer everyday during the Queensland school holidays and Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday during term times.
We also offer a 1 hour ride during the Queensland school holidays.

What happens if it rains?

Riding in the rain isn’t the best of experiences and can be slippery and so safety can be an issue. We will contact you as early as we can if the ride is postponed due to the weather so we can organise a rescheduled ride with you.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

We no longer do gift vouchers as legislation changed that we have to honour them for 3 years which is not viable for us. However, some of our customers have given vouchers designed by them, then they book and pay when the person is ready.
